Middle School — Facilitated by professional teaching artists, Confronting Conflict explores conflict resolution, and helps participants to identify positive strategies they can use when faced with inevitable conflicts. Using experiential theatre based games and exercises, participants are encouraged to explore their specific conflicts and how they can come up with and practice positive strategies to help. Designed to address Colorado Academic Standards, each workshop includes a writing activity, multi-media, and physical and verbal expression to engage every type of learner.

Duration: 3 part workshop. Each part is 1 hour in length.

Cost: Free

Audience: 7th and 8th grade students

Size: Minimum 15 students, maximum 30 students.

Preferred performance area: Classroom sized space
