Resilience in School Environments: Understanding & PracticeAbout the Program
Resilience in School Environments: Understanding & Practice (RISE UP) is a learning session designed to foster resilience using a trauma sensitive approach to interactions with students. Teaching artists from Kaiser Permanente facilitate the 2-hour session employing theatre, experiential learning, and arts integration techniques to engage participants in their own discovery and practical implementation.
NOTE: We are not accepting bookings at this time.
Target audience: Teachers and school staff
Minimum size: 25-50 participants
Preferred performance area: Large room with enough space for participants to move around
Duration: 40 minutes, plus 20 minutes for interactive discussion
Workshop: 2 hours
