Youth Engagement Programs
Believe in youth.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMS
Kaiser Permanente believes in youth. We regard “Youth Voice” as a catalyst for change. We value youth leaders as essential allies in our work to improve the health of our communities. Our programs provide youth the opportunities to be educators, leaders, and advocates for health. Our youth leaders partner with experts from schools, cities, and state organizations to achieve the following goals:
- Identify health barriers within a community
- Raise awareness of community health concerns
- Implement youth-driven strategies to improve community health
We envision our youth as resources to be cultivated not problems to be fixed.
